Lakewood High School (Colorado) - Lip Dub

Lip Dub

In the 2011-2012 school year, Lakewood High School put on a lip dub featuring the entire school faculty and students using the Katy Perry song "firework", led by the video production teacher Adam Ronscavage, and student Josh Torrison. After a week of filming, the video was released, garnering over 75,000 views as of October, 2011.

A local news station, KUSA did a feature on the lip dub, along with Katy Perry tweeting about it.

The lip Dub is also ***almost*** featured in Katy Perry's 3D movie "Part of Me" (2012). *** it was not featured in the film as it didn't make the final edit. However, a contract was signed with Paramount Pictures prior to the film's release.
