Sequel
Robert Hall has stated in an interview that he has plans for a sequel and possible prequel. The sequel titled ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 and the prequel titled Laid to Rest 3: Conception. In his interview he said "the scripts are being written and the treatments are all done and they're in active development." Hall also said that he is hoping to shoot the two films back to back in Georgia early next year. Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 was released in September 2011 and it stars Brian Austin Green, Danielle Harris, Mimi Michaels, Allison Kyler, Thomas Dekker, Angelina Armani, Nick Principe, and Christopher Nelson.
