La Renga - Cover Versions

Cover Versions

The band has covered Neil Young and Crazy Horse's song "Hey, Hey, My, My (Into the Black)", which originally featured on the album, Rust Never Sleeps. They released their cover version in 1999 on the album La Esquina del Infinito. Only the title was sung in English; the remainder of the song was translated into Spanish. They also have a cover of Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" and rare live covers of Creedence Clearwater Revival like "Fortunate Son" and "Someday Never Comes", Vox Dei's "A Nadie Le Interesa Si Quedás Atrás (Total Qué...)" has covered in early '90 and other bands.

Famous quotes containing the words cover and/or versions:

There is reason in the distinction of civil and uncivil. The manners are sometimes so rough a rind that we doubt whether they cover any core or sap-wood at all.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The assumption must be that those who can see value only in tradition, or versions of it, deny man’s ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
    Stephen Bayley (b. 1951)
