LBSITW, Trivandrum is the second self financing Engineering College managed by LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Trivandrum (A Govt. of Kerala undertaking).The first of its kind in Kerala, the LBSITW began functioning during the academic year 2001-02 and was inaugurated on 30 October 2001 by the Honorable Chief Minister, Sri. A. K. Antony. This Engineering College is a unique venture of the LBS Center for Science and Technology, under the auspices of Government of Kerala.The college is located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram City. It is situated at Poojappura, which is about 4 km away from the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station and K.S.R.T.C Bus Station. The nearest Airport is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, about 15 km away from the College. This college is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
