Kyle Katarn is a fictional character from several video games of the Star Wars universe, and the protagonist in four of the titles in the Jedi Knight series. He has also appeared in Star Wars: Lethal Alliance and in several books and other Star Wars Expanded Universe material.
In Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, actor Jason Court played Katarn in the live-action cutscenes.
Kyle has been well received by IGN, and GameSpot included him in a vote for the greatest characters of all time. Kyle was eliminated in round two of GameSpot's vote when faced against Lara Croft.
