Kyambogo University

Kyambogo University (KYU), is a public university in Uganda. It is one of the eight public universities and degree-awarding institutions in the country. The list includes the following:

  1. Makerere University - Founded in 1924
  2. Uganda Management Institute - Founded in 1968
  3. Mbarara University - Founded in 1989
  4. Kyambogo University - Founded in 2003
  5. Gulu University - Founded in 2002
  6. Busitema University - Founded in 2007
  7. Kigumba Petroleum Institute - Founded in 2009
  8. Muni University - Founded in 2012
