Kung Fu Heroes, known in Japan as Super Chinese (スーパーチャイニーズ, Sūpā Chainīzu?), is a 1986 video game developed in Japan by the company Nihon Game, and released in North America in 1988. It features an overhead view and up to two players may play simultaneously. It is a direct port of the earlier arcade game Chinese Hero developed by Nihon Game at the time the company was involved in the coin-up industry.
Kung Fu Heroes is an NES port of Chinese Hero, and unlike other titles in the series, it does not incorporate any role-playing video game elements in the gameplay.
Famous quotes containing the word heroes:
“We talk about a representative government; but what a monster of a government is that where the noblest faculties of the mind, and the whole heart, are not represented! A semihuman tiger or ox, stalking over the earth, with its heart taken out and the top of its brain shot away. Heroes have fought well on their stumps when their legs were shot off, but I never heard of any good done by such a government as that.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
