Kreimbach-Kaulbach - History

History

In 1309, Kreimbach had its first documentary mention, while Kaulbach had its in 1437. Both villages belonged to the Electoral Palatinate Amt of Wolfstein and they shared much of their history with their former court seat, Rothselberg. The woodlands once held by the Heidenburg (“Heathen Castle”) now belong to the municipality. The Heidenburg itself is believed to be the former foundations of a Roman castrum.

On 7 June 1969, the municipality of Kreimbach-Kaulbach was formed out of the formerly self-administering municipalities of Kreimbach and Kaulbach.

So in accepting the leading of the sentiments, it is not what we believe concerning the immortality of the soul, or the like, but the universal impulse to believe, that is the material circumstance, and is the principal fact in this history of the globe.

A man acquainted with history may, in some respect, be said to have lived from the beginning of the world, and to have been making continual additions to his stock of knowledge in every century.
