As the large majority of the population is Hindu, there are many Hindu temples like Nagapillayar, Kasi Visalakshi, Sundara Vinayagar, Sri Gopalaswamy, Sri Ragavendraswamy and Lord Ayyapa. In addition, there is Infant Jesus Church, a mosque and another Protestant church.
