Curriculum

  • The curriculum is composed of academic courses(135 credits), Creative Research Activities(30 credits), Leadership Activities courses(8AU)
  • Academic courses : General(62 credits) and Specialized Subject(73 credits)
  • Creative Research Activities
  1. Creative Basic Study ; Creative Planned Research (3 credits), Seminars for Research Methods (3 credits)
  2. Self-directed Research in Small Group : R&E (10 credits), Field Research (6 credits)
  3. Research for Graduation (8 credits)
  • Leadership Activities ; Club Activities and Volunteer Work (8AU for 3 years, respectively)
  1. 1AU (Activity Unit) ; Participating in the activity on-hour per week for 16 weeks
  • R&E Program
  1. R&E Program teams comprise of a guidance professor, a jont professor, and students. For a year, students carry our research that they planned.
  2. R&E Program is operated by KSA teachers and connected with research institutes and universities for in-depth research in particular fields.
  3. R&E Program is not only for science and engineering, but is also carried out in various field such as humanity, society, and culture&arts.
  4. Research outcomes should be completed and presented in theses. Theses should be written in English.
  5. The guidance professor evaluates individual activities.
  • Creative Planned Research activity and Seminar for Research method
  1. Creative Planned Research activity : Students freely select a topic about objects or phenomena in life and then improve creativeness through devising and revising topic. The activity is composed of lectures and group activities. Every student presents group research outcomes at the end of the 1st semester.
  2. Seminar for Research method : Operate as a seminar for basic elements of research(purpose, contents, method of research, and introduction of research equipment) and topic search. Students complete group research plans at the end of the term.
