Koodo Mobile

Koodo Mobile is a mobile brand in Canada started by Telus in 2008 and mostly oriented toward younger customers (like Rogers' "Fido" brand). Koodo differs from its parent Telus by not requiring a fixed term contract. Koodo currently provides postpaid and prepaid services. Koodo uses the concept of a Tab which allows customers to build credit towards new phones. Being a subsidiary of Telus, Koodo has been able to offer extensive coverage and a strong presence in mobile retailers. This allowed Koodo to gain a presence nationwide.

The brand name is a variation of the Ancient Greek word κῦδος, meaning “praise, renown, glory” and more recently “acclaim for something well done”.

Famous quotes containing the word mobile:

From three to six months, most babies have settled down enough to be fun but aren’t mobile enough to be getting into trouble. This is the time to pay some attention to your relationship again. Otherwise, you may spend the entire postpartum year thinking you married the wrong person and overlooking the obvious—that parenthood can create rough spots even in the smoothest marriage.
