Kogarasu Maru - Rumors

Rumors

The Kogarasu Maru is believed by some to have been a cut down naginata or yari blade that was fashioned into a tachi, as its shape is similar to that of some polearms. Nevertheless no evidence of "suriage" (shortening) is found on any of the three extant examples from this time period.

Famous quotes containing the word rumors:

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
    Bible: New Testament, Matthew 24:6.

It was because of me. Rumors reached Inman that I had made a deal with Bob Dole whereby Dole would fill a paper sack full of doggie poo, set it on fire, put it on Inman’s porch, ring the doorbell, and then we would hide in the bushes and giggle when Inman came to stamp out the fire. I am not proud of this. But this is what we do in journalism.
