History
Kno was founded in May 2009 by Babur Habib and Osman Rashid. Kno's largest investor is venture capitalist and Netscape creator Marc Andreessen. The Company first announced a line of tablet computers at the D: All Things Digital conference in June 2010. In April 2011, the Company announced that it had licensed its hardware design to Intel and would focus on developing software "to make learning engaging, effective, and social for students."
