Custom Models
In addition to variations on the standard Knightmare Frames, Britannia also builds various custom models of Knightmare Frame. Some, like the Lancelot and the Gawain, are experimental models meant to test and refine new ideas that are later pushed into mass production. Others, like the Galahad and the Tristan, are custom-built for elite pilots in the Britannian Empire: in particular the Knights of the Round.

Famous quotes containing the words custom and/or models:
“In the west, Apollo and Dionysus strive for victory. Apollo makes the boundary lines that are civilization but that lead to convention, constraint, oppression. Dionysus is energy unbound, mad, callous, destructive, wasteful. Apollo is law, history, tradition, the dignity and safety of custom and form. Dionysus is the new, exhilarating but rude, sweeping all away to begin again. Apollo is a tyrant, Dionysus is a vandal.”
—Camille Paglia (b. 1947)
“Friends broaden our horizons. They serve as new models with whom we can identify. They allow us to be ourselvesand accept us that way. They enhance our self-esteem because they think were okay, because we matter to them. And because they matter to usfor various reasons, at various levels of intensitythey enrich the quality of our emotional life.”
—Judith Viorst (20th century)
