Areas and Divisions
Mukim Kianggeh can be divided into two main areas:
Bandar Seri Begawan centre and Bandar Seri Begawan areas.
Bandar Seri Begawan centre includes these following areas:
- Kampong Kianggeh
- Kampong Berangan
- Kampong Tasek Lama
- Padang
- Kampong Sumbiling
- Kawasan Pusat Sejarah
- Kawasan Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah
- Kawasan Perdagangan Bumi Putera
Other Bandar Seri Begawan areas include these following areas:
- Kampong Mabohai
- Kampong Tong Kadeh
- Kampong Kumbang Pasang
- Seri Kompleks (also known as Batu Satu)
- Parit (Seringan)
- Tumasek
- Telanai
Notes: During the reign of Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddin III, Kumbang Pasang was considered a mukim. But in the reign of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Kumbang Pasang ceased to be a mukim and become absorbed within Mukim Kianggeh and is now a part of its areas till the present day.
