The station is owned and operated by Catamount Broadcasting of Norwalk, Connecticut, which also operates KNVN channel 24, a NBC affiliate owned by Evans Broadcasting. That transmitter is located in Red Bluff, California, shifting the news and advertising focus to Redding. As a duopoly, both stations telecast Action News and Action News Weekend Report. The station's Redding offices are located in the Mt. Shasta Mall.
