Main dialect of kherwara region is Vagdi. It is part of Vagad region which includes districts of Dungarpur, Banswara and parts of Udaipur district. Area is majorly inhibited by Meena and Patel communities. Major occupation in kherawara tehsil is agriculture. The Temple of lord shiva located at Godaveri ,Khadkwa mataji temple and Jain tample located at chhaoni-chhitora 10.5km on Rani-chhaoni road.
