Industry
The city's main commercial activities include making stainless steel utensils, Hathkargha, power looms and agricultural and farming equipment. Almost all the production of the handloom and power loom units of Khekada is exported to the western world. Its textile industry is famous for home furnishing items like rug, kitchen towels, curtains, table covers, bedsheets, place mats, quilts and napkins. The iron industries manufacture agricultural items like cutters.
