Health and Services
Kfar Yona has three health offices, a few dentists, a few alternative health professionals. It is close to the Netanya train station, and to the fire station. Besides the volunteer security force, it has a mostly-defunct police station, though it is not far from the Netanya police station.
Kfar Yona residents gather their mail from post office box centers. A post office box is assigned to each family by the main post office. The post boxes have replaced home delivery which was available until the early 1990s.

Famous quotes containing the words health and, health and/or services:
“Woman ... cannot be content with health and agility: she must make exorbitant efforts to appear something that never could exist without a diligent perversion of nature. Is it too much to ask that women be spared the daily struggle for superhuman beauty in order to offer it to the caresses of a subhumanly ugly mate?”
—Germaine Greer (b. 1939)
“Publicity in women is detestable. Anonymity runs in their blood. The desire to be veiled still possesses them. They are not even now as concerned about the health of their fame as men are, and, speaking generally, will pass a tombstone or a signpost without feeling an irresistible desire to cut their names on it.”
—Virginia Woolf (18821941)
“Men will say that in supporting their wives, in furnishing them with houses and food and clothes, they are giving the women as much money as they could ever hope to earn by any other profession. I grant it; but between the independent wage-earner and the one who is given his keep for his services is the difference between the free-born and the chattel.”
—Elizabeth M. Gilmer (18611951)
