Personal Life
In December of 1998 Kevin Murray was caught with a prostitute in a parking lot and arrested by LAPD officers. He was later acquitted of all charges because the arresting officers did not book the condom that was used into evidence. The mayors office was involved in the acquittal process. Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:
“Of the modes of persuasion furnished by the spoken word there are three kinds. The first kind depends on the personal character of the speaker; the second on putting the audience into a certain frame of mind; the third on the proof, provided by the words of the speech itself.”
—Aristotle (384323 B.C.)
“There was a time when the average reader read a novel simply for the moral he could get out of it, and however naïve that may have been, it was a good deal less naïve than some of the limited objectives he has now. Today novels are considered to be entirely concerned with the social or economic or psychological forces that they will by necessity exhibit, or with those details of daily life that are for the good novelist only means to some deeper end.”
—Flannery OConnor (19251964)
