Overview
As of June 2012, KCB Group was the largest financial services organization in East Africa, with an estimated asset valuation in excess of US$4.2 billion (KES:349 billion), and shareholders' equity in excess of US$604 million (KES:50 billion). KCB Group has the widest network of banking outlets comprising over 222 branches and over 400 automated teller machines in Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. In March 2011, media reports indicated that the group was pursuing expansion plans ito he Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia and Zambia.
