Athletics
Kenwood competes in the Chicago Public League (CPL) and is a member of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). The boys' baseball team were Class 3A regional champions from 2010 to 2012. The boys' swimming and diving team have been Public League champions thirteen times, most recently in the 1999-2000 season. The girls' volleyball team were district champions in the 1975-76 season. The girls' tennis team were Public League champions in the 1980-81 season.
