Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement

The Kentucky State Police Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE), commonly known as Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement (KVE), is a statewide law enforcement agency for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The department, which was a stand alone department until a July 14, 2008 executive order from Governor Steve Beshear, is now a division of the Kentucky State Police (KSP). The division employs both sworn officers and commercial vehicle inspectors.
