Saturday Night Live Parody
Morrison's reporting style has been parodied on Saturday Night Live by cast member Bill Hader. On the March 30, 2009, episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Hader, referencing the fact that Morrison works in the GE Building, where both Dateline NBC and Saturday Night Live are filmed, jokingly stated that he lived in fear of getting into the same elevator as Morrison.

Famous quotes containing the words saturday night, saturday, night, live and/or parody:
“Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week.”
—Sammy Cahn (19131993)
“The return of the asymmetrical Saturday was one of those small events that were interior, local, almost civic and which, in tranquil lives and closed societies, create a sort of national bond and become the favorite theme of conversation, of jokes and of stories exaggerated with pleasure: it would have been a ready- made seed for a legendary cycle, had any of us leanings toward the epic.”
—Marcel Proust (18711922)
“They give birth astride of a grave, the light gleams an instant, then its night once more.”
—Samuel Beckett (19061989)
“One of the fundamental reasons why so many doctors become cynical and disillusioned is precisely because, when the abstract idealism has worn thin, they are uncertain about the value of the actual lives of the patients they are treating. This is not because they are callous or personally inhuman: it is because they live in and accept a society which is incapable of knowing what a human life is worth.”
—John Berger (b. 1926)
“Why does almost everything seem to me like its own parody? Why must I think that almost all, no, all the methods and conventions of art today are good for parody only?”
—Thomas Mann (18751955)
