Starting in 2011 Toyota Motor Corp launched its first minicar the Pixis Space which is expected to increase competition in the minicar sector. Currently Nissan Motors is in partnership with Mitsubishi Motors who produces the minicars for Nissan, while Honda's minicar sales total around a quarter of its overall sales.
