Kee Wah Bakery

Kee Wah Bakery (奇華餅家有限公司) is a chain of bakery stores in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas of the United States (California). Kee Wah was originally founded in Hong Kong in 1938 by Mr. Wong Yip Wing (1911–1999). The company is well known in Hong Kong and overseas for its signature products ― Chinese Bridal Cakes and mooncakes ― though a wide range of Chinese and Western delicacies is equally popular.

Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang appears frequently in advertising and commercials for Kee Wah.

While the bakeries located in the U.S are not personally run by Mr. Wong Yip Wing, they are being run by his family members. The pastries and products vary between Hong Kong and American branches. Although there is a difference it does not mean the branches in the U.S are any less of its counterparts overseas.

The Kee Wah Bakery in California was established in 1985 and continues to produce freshly baked goods daily. Many well known favorites are the egg tarts and the pineapple buns.
