Later Life
Katharine Elizabeth Dopp died in Chicago, Illinois on 14 May 1944. She was buried at Dopp Neighborhood in the Dopp Cemetery next to her parents. She had never married. According to testimonials from her former students, she was a beloved, dedicated teacher.
