Residential Complexes
The southern side of the campus houses five women's hostels. The northern section of the campus houses eight men's hostels. They accommodate more than 7000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The twelve hostels are under the administrative control of the three Chief Wardens. They are assisted by two Joint Chief Wardens in administrative responsibilities . The Finance officer of the University looks after the financial responsibilities. Each Hostel Block is managed by a Warden (Welfare and Discipline), who are drawn from the teaching faculty of the University.
There are four messes catering to the students of the hostels. Each mess is administered by a Warden (Mess), who is also a faculty member of the University. The messes serve South Indian and North Indian dishes. Hostels have amenities like internet facilities in each room, telephones, intercom, water purifiers and coolers, newspapers, and indoor and outdoor sports kits. The 13 hostels are :
