Students take a placement examination in eighth grade prior to enrollment.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. Current ratio: 5% African American; 7% Hispanic; 7% Asian; 80% Caucasian.
The Faculty: The Kapaun Mt. Carmel faculty consists of 61 faculty members and a 17 member support staff for a total of 78 employees. The faculty includes two Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary who teach full time in the Religion Department. A full time priest teaches, serves as Chaplain, and provides sacramental ministries to the students. All students take Religion classes each semester and are exposed to numerous opportunities for fully integrating their academic and spiritual experiences.
