School Background
Kansas City Middle School of the Arts is one of the most popular and successful of the KCMSD’s magnet schools. The program serves over 650 middle school students from 6th grade to 8th grade and has been in operation since 1987. It has access to a 1200 seat state-of-the-art theater, black box, recital hall, recording studios and art gallery. The middle school sits on top of a hill with Paseo Academy behind it.
KCMSA is a middle school with grade 6-8.
