Code4Derry
The Code4Derry initiative was a programme run by Kainos to match IT students and graduates up with city/local government to promote better access to and improve services. It was based on the Code4America programme.
Code4Derry was run during the summer in 2012 and was an exciting and innovative programme which showcased Derry for other further education establishments and councils. Derry City Council would get the benefit of access to accomplished students who could help the Council understand the potential of technology today and implement some useful applications.
