Kaid Mohamed - Career - Bath City

Bath City

Mohamed was released at the end of the season when he was not offered a new contract with Forest Green. In August 2009, he signed for Bath City on a non-contract basis, making his debut as an 80th minute substitute replacing Darren Edwards in a 1–0 win over Maidenhead United. He went on to score 14 goals in 36 league appearances and scored three more in the Conference South play-offs, including the only goal of the game in the play-off final win over Woking which promoted Bath to the Conference National. In March 2011, he refused to sit on the bench for Bath's game with Grimsby Town, Bath's manager Adie Britton later made a statement that read "When I named the side he was not in it. He was upset and said he wanted no part in the game, he has made it clear that he wants to go back to full-time football".

Famous quotes containing the words bath and/or city:

For a parent, it’s hard to recognize the significance of your work when you’re immersed in the mundane details. Few of us, as we run the bath water or spread the peanut butter on the bread, proclaim proudly, “I’m making my contribution to the future of the planet.” But with the exception of global hunger, few jobs in the world of paychecks and promotions compare in significance to the job of parent.
    Joyce Maynard (20th century)

There is a city myth that country life was isolated and lonely; the truth is that farmers and their families then had a richer social life than they have now. They enjoyed a society organic, satisfying and whole, not mixed and thinned with the life of town, city and nation as it now is.
    Rose Wilder Lane (1886–1965)
