K7 Computing was founded in 1991 by Jayaraman Kesavardhanan in Chennai, India. Kesavardhanan and his company developed various applications for DOS, including an antivirus.
K7 Total Security, released 2002, was K7 Computing's first security suite for Windows PCs. The service offered basic protection for internet users such as Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware Tools, Anti-Spam and Basic Firewall.
