Justin Strzelczyk - College

College

Strzelczyk went on to play football at the University of Maine. During a game against the New Hampshire Wildcats, Justin told his teammates that he was going to make himself vomit. He did, all over the New Hampshire guard's hand. He then bragged that he couldn't wait to show the instance to his teammates on the game film. Another instance occurred in the school's biology lab. At a time when everybody else was studying, except Justin, he said, 'I have two choices: I'm either playing pro football or pumping gas. If I don't make it, I'll be happy making $5 an hour.'

Maine won two Yankee Conference titles, during Justin's time on the team. Teammates stated that he hated steroids and made his weight through eating and weight-lifting. He was given the nickname "Jughead", after the Archie comics character. In January 1990, he played in the East-West Shrine Game held in California. There he impressed then-Steelers coach, Chuck Noll, who drafted Justin in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL Draft.
