The terms and conditions for Jump Mobile require customers to maintain minutes on their accounts. If all funds and minutes have expired, after a sixty day grace period Jump Mobile service lapses and customers lose their telephone numbers. Jump Mobile offers both "service credit" and "Airtime To Go"; the former expires within a fixed period that begins when the credit is applied and that varies based on the amount, ranging from $15 credits that expire in 15 days to $50 credits that expire in 90 days. "Airtime to Go" has the same range of expiration periods (from 15 to 100 days) but the countdown to expiration doesn't begin until the airtime is activated.
