Joyland Amusement Park (Wichita)
Joyland Amusement Park was a former amusement park in Wichita, Kansas. It was in continuous operation for 55 years, from June 12, 1949 to 2004. The park was once the largest theme park in central Kansas and featured a wooden roller coaster.
Today the site is abandoned, and most buildings and rides have been vandalized. An organization, called Restore Hope was started in the hope of rebuilding the park.
