Reshot Version in High Definition
The entire series was reshot in high definition in 2007, with a total of 45 episodes, each 45 minutes long and containing 10 minutes of 3-D effects. The original cast was recruited: Liu Xiao Ling Tong, Chi Chongrui and Ma Dehua. Sha Wujing was played by Liu Dagang as the original actor, Yan Huaili, died in April 2009. The production will be completed in November 2010.
