- Barring Tiger Salim, all Joshi films were edited by K.Shankunni till his death. The only exception was Sainyam released in 1994.
- Jayanan Vincent was unavoidable part of Joshi film for long years. However after Kauravar, they have never worked together.
- Joshi joined with S. N. Swamy for the first time for Naduvazhikal in 1989. Later they together did Airport in 1992, Dhruvam in 1993, Sainyam in 1994 and Janmam in 2007.
- Cochin Haneefa, Jagannadha Varma, Babu Namboothiri and Azeez were regular faces in all his films.
