Campuses and Museum

• Suginami Campus

Established in 1935, is located in Suginami. The College of Art and Design(Department of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design), Junior College of Art and Design, Joshibi High School of Art and Design, University Headquarters are located at Suginami Campus.

• Sagamihara Campus

Established in 1990, is located in Sagamihara. The College of Art and Design(Department of Fine arts, Department of Design and Crafts), Graduate School of Art and Design are located at Sagamihara Campus.

• Joshibi Art Museum (JAM) collects works with an emphasis on the graduates including OKUBO Fukuko, KATAOKA Tamako, GOKURA Kazuko, TADA Minami, MIGISHI Setsuko, and the artists with deep ties to the university. By acquiring a part of the former Kanebo Collection in 2009, the museum now houses approximately 15,000 works. It is one of the largest textile collections in Japan which covers from the ancient to the contemporary textiles from around the world. The museum opened in 2001 and is located in Sagamihara Campus.
