Location
Jorhat city was the operational headquarter of the Ahom Kingdom prior to its fall to the British rule. The SECOND biggest city of Assam, Jorhat city is 310 km east of Guwahati when travelled by road. It is well connected by road, railways and air. The city is located near the serene surroundings of Kaziranga National Park and Majuli, the biggest riverine island in the world.
The college is situated by the river Bhugdoi, a tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra.
