Jonathan Lewis (oncologist)

Jonathan J. Lewis, M.D., Ph.D., is a surgeon, biomedical researcher and entrepreneur. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1959. Lewis was trained in surgery in South Africa, Britain, and the United States, and he is a fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. His subspecialty was cancer, and he spent a decade at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City both treating patients and conducting research.
