Career
In 2002, she was part of GMA-7's Sunday variety show SOP. In 2003, Jolina Magdangal moved to rival station, GMA 7. The network was revamped in 2003 with more primetime TV series; she was part of the primetime soap Narito Ang Puso Ko from 2003 to 2004. She was also part of the weekend afternoon drama Kahit Kailan.
In 2004, she was host of the reality television talent search popularly known as StarStruck (Philippine TV series) and StarStruck Kids. In 2007 she finished her hosting duties on the reality franchise.
She did a film titled Annie B, a remake of the 1980 film and popular song, under Viva Films with Dingdong Dantes as her leading man.
In 2005, she became part of the morning news program Unang Hirit until her hiatus in 2009. She was cast as Jasmine on the series Love to Love (TV series). In 2006, Magdangal was paired with leading man Marvin Agustin in the high rated primetime romantic comedy I Luv NY.
In 2008, she was a judge on Pinoy Idol. The show has not reported for another season or a cancellation. It paved her way as a comeback to afternoon weekend programming she was part of Dear Friend — letter writers send in stories about life and difficulties on love; she was host with Marvin Agustin. The series ended in 2010 and was nominated in many given bodied awards by Star Awards and PMPC throughout its run.
In 2009, she was part of Adik Sa'Yo. The primetime series became high rated and had a DVD release in October 2009, two months after its finale.
In 2010, she became part of the children's primetime series and sequel to the 2009 MMFF Best Picture Panday Kids; a fairy godmother on the primetime series Grazilda; and she became part of the revamp of S.O.P. renamed as Party Pilipinas.
In 2011, she became part of Iglot which served as a reunion for her and Claudine Barretto after 11 years.
In 2012, it was revealed that her fans club, Jolina the Eternal Fans Club is now headed by Ms. Vera Francine Maniego and Mr./Ms./Mrs. (unknown sex) Asia Maniego.
