John T. Monroe was the 19th and 32nd mayor of New Orleans (June 18, 1860 – May 16, 1862 and May 12, 1866 – March 28, 1867).
He was born 6 May, 1822, in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, US or in Howard's County, Missouri, US. He died 24 February 1871 in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
