John Charles McQuaid
John Charles McQuaid, C.S.Sp. (28 July 1895 – 7 April 1973) was the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland between December 1940 and February 1972. Subsequently, allegations of child abuse were made against him. These allegations have been specifically rejected by several leading Irish historians.
