Joe Cooney

Joe Cooney (born 17 March 1965) is an Irish former sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Sarsfield's and with the Galway senior inter-county team from 1985 until 2000. Cooney is regarded as one of Galway’s greatest-ever players.
