Personal Life
Davis was married to the former Pamela Blackburn from 1978 until 1994, a union which produced three children (Joshua Richard b. 1981, Jordan Ashley b. 1982 and Jeremy William b. 1985.) He was later married to Penelope Parker from 1996 until 2009. They had no children together.
Davis is the second-cousin of Major League Baseball player Wade Davis.
