JForce offers only one software system at this time. JForce PM is a strictly project management system that is developed to be installed directly on a Joomla! website.
It is dramatically unique in the service that it offers to the Joomla! community. It runs native on Joomla! 1.5 and utilizes proper MVC (model view controller) code formatting. The customer has complete control and flexibility to store all their information on the server of their choosing. They can format the layout and organize the information according to their preferences and current site design.
It is available in 3 different editions: the Community Edition, the Professional Edition and the Enterprise Edition.
The Community Edition contains all the foundational aspects of project management and is completely free of charge. It is offered under the GNU/GPL license type that Joomla! is founded. This Community version provides a way for JForce to ‘give back’ to the Open Source Community.
The Professional Edition builds on the Community version by adding several advanced project management features and is available at a one-time purchase fee, which allows the user access to the system code; as well as any system updates released by the JForce development team and system support for a 6-month period. The Enterprise Edition is meant for any company that would like the JForce PM system completely customized for their specific business needs.
The software completed a successful Beta Testing phase in August 2010. Product launch coincided with Joomla!’s 5th birthday, September 1, 2010.
