History
The airline was established in November 2002 and intended to start operations from Shenzhen in 2005 using Boeing 737 aircraft. It is owned by Orient Holdings Group (65%) and (Hong Kong company) East Pacific Holdings (35%).
Jetwin Air Cargo changed its name to East Pacific Airlines in keeping with the name of one of its major owners, the East Pacific Group.
