  • On 1 July 2007, Jet Airways Flight 3307, an ATR 72-212A (registered VT-JCE) which was flying on the Bhopal-Indore route was involved in an accident which was caused by a storm. There were no fatalities amongst the 45 passengers and 4 crew onboard; however, the aircraft suffered damages beyond repair.
  • On March 23, 2013, the death of a cat named James Dean, while being transported by Jet Airways sparked online indignation about the way the airline handled the situation and about how the owner was treated after given the news of the death of her cat. The owner speculated that the carriage was negligently mishandled, leading to her cat escaping.
