Jesse James Dupree

Jesse James Dupree (born 1962 or 1963) is an American rock guitarist and lead singer in the band Jackyl. His most famous routine involves playing a chainsaw during the song "The Lumberjack".

He also started a solo project with guitarist John Hayes and bassist Roman Glick (formerly of Brother Cane). His 2000 solo release Foot Fetish, issued on V2 Records, featured the single "Mainline", which hit #34 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Dupree also has a customized electric guitar with a chainsaw attached. He endorses an extremely large customized chainsaw powered by Dodge Hemi used for festivals. In September 2001 Dupree performed a cover of AC/DC's "Highway To Hell" for the ECW Music CD Anarchy Rocks.

Dupree released a new album on July 15, 2008 called Jesse James Dupree & Dixie Inc - Rev It Up and Go-Go. Two videos were released in promotion of the new CD: "Money Lovin & Speed" and "Bite".

In 1989, Jesse had a son named Nigel Thomas Dupree who is the lead vocalist for Nigel Dupree Band. Jesse James Dupree currently appears on Full Throttle Saloon which airs on truTV on Wednesdays at 9 P.M.
